Great BC
Date: May 19, 2010
I'm really glad Aqua Lung makes a BC for women! i tried on other BC's and other women's BC's and none fit as well as the Pearl. It really IS made for women. Once I got in the water I realized, even more so, what a great product I had purchased. It is comfortable. It keeps me in place (I don't float around in my BC). The waist belt sits above my hips at my waist keeping the unit from riding up and the integrated women specific vest keeps me in place. The adjustable shoulder straps keep everything hugged down. I also like the weight pouches on the tank strap. It's a great place to keep up to 3 extra pounds per pouch.
If you're considering this BC, just get it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Best Comfortable Buy
Date: May 15, 2010
I bought this BCD so I could be comfortable & safe with my own equipment. I love it. The comfort level for larger breasted women...it is ideal. It fits so nice around the hip area as well. The BCD has a very quick release weight. You can put additional weights in the back near the tank if needed.
I would highly recommend this BCD for any women or if any man is looking to buy one for his wife. She will love the fit. I know I do.

Super Comfortable
Date: March 29, 2010
My wife dives on the Pearl and she absolutely loves it. She finds that the added support makes the BC more comfortable than a standard BC. It was obviously designed with its users in mind, for she won’t trade it for the world. Funny enough I know a guy who dives on an older model pearl and he swears by it, says that the upper supporting is great because it keeps him warm so he doesn't need to layer as much on warm Caribbean days! To each their own right! ;) (Sorry D, if you read this, but I just had to share that info!)

Great fit and easy on the back
Date: February 23, 2010
I just purchased the Pearl BCD after many good years of use with my Seaquest Eva BCD (also for women). I am an A.I. and I just spent the weekend diving with my new B.C. The fit is great and the cross-over vest design is very female friendly. I love the weight pouches on the tank strap and the weight pouches on the B.C. lock easily into place with the hard plastic guides. The biggest surprise was how my back did not hurt after the two days of diving. I believe this is due to the way the B.C. distributes the weight. I did not order it with the I3 - only because I prefer to stay in line with training equipment of new divers - for skill demo purposes. I made sure to try on the different sizes first. However, their size guide was also accurate for my size. Hope this is helpful.

Best ever
Date: February 17, 2010
I am new to the diving world and very petite. The pearl is my first BC. The first time i used it was on my checkout dives in the Florida keys. I was alittle nervous using new gear, but it was great. The pearl was very comfortable and very easy to use. I would definitley buy another.

The wife loves it

Best fit of all the BC's she tried. Nice extras like the BC knife attatchment point. We only have one complaint - why not stainless steel "D" rings. Even my sons "WAVE" BC had stainless steel. Attatchment point need to be sturdy/wear resistant and stainless steel would have been the better choice.

not happy with my Pearl
Date: January 23, 2010
I do not like the new Weight system. The pockets are harder to put in this BC than the Diva ever was. If the Bc is inflated forget it. I had a Diva LX before this BC and LOVED it but I wanted to try the new technology. I feel that the Pearl is a lesser quality BC than its predessor the Diva. The new back pack is not as sturdy as the Diva or the old Style Pro QD. And why is that the ladies BC does not have stainless D-rings? I do like the design and the flat E-valves. Overall I am unsatified with this BC - so I will wait and HOPE that Aqua Lung revises some of these issues and buy a new BC later.
